Everyday homes are transformed into healthier, happier, living spaces following a surprise visit from the all-star SWATH (Seeking Wellness in the Home) TEAM.
In each hour-long, closed-ended episode of “House Call” the SWATH Team – an eclectic, energetic, and world-class team of experts, including a nutritionist, fitness trainer, mindfulness coach, sleep expert, medical doctor, interior designer, and more – pay an unexpected visit to a family in need of a wellness home makeover. Each episode begins with a video submission from the chosen family – or friends who’ve nominated them – giving viewers a glimpse into their lives and homes. This is followed by a surprise visit from our SWATH Team who conducts a fast-paced ‘raid’ of the house, looking for signs of unhealthy living conditions. Merging on-site footage with off-camera interviews and reactions will create a comprehensive viewing experience and introduction to both the family and that episode’s SWATH Team members. Once the initial excitement settles down, the host sits with the family members to discuss their concerns and needs – a heartfelt segment where the family shares their struggles and aspirations, adding depth and emotion to the episode. Next, our SWATH Team huddles to meet and discuss their plan of attack (e.g. reorganizing the pantry for healthier options, creating a dedicated area for tech-free family time, designing an in-house movement studio, optimizing for better sleep, and much more) before the wellness experts share their design recommendations and health tips with the family. This segment not only sets up the episode, but is also packed with actionable advice that viewers can apply in their own homes. Once the plan is in place, the family temporarily moves out of their house for 1-2 weeks as our team works tirelessly to implement the design modifications, transforming the space into a healthier, happier home. The climax of each episode is the grand reveal, as the family returns to their newly renovated or reimagined home, their emotional reactions captured in real-time. As the credits roll, we check back in with the family, a few months into living in their new, healthier habitat – and online viewers can regularly check in with old favorites to see how they’re faring months and even years into living in their new home.
